What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive eating is a process to help people connect with their bodies. It helps individuals honour their health by listening to their bodies and considering their needs. Intuitive eaters honour their hunger and fullness, tuning into physical cues rather than following restrictive rules. This approach encourages trust in one's internal signals, fostering a healthier relationship with food. Unlike dieting, which often involves rigid schedules and external validations like calorie counts or scales, intuitive eating puts the focus back on internal awareness. It's a practice of mindfulness that extends beyond the kitchen-much like the way some individuals approach recreation. For instance, platforms like casino zeta highlight how people seek experiences that align with both enjoyment and autonomy, where choices are based on personal rhythm rather than imposed systems. Similarly, intuitive eating empowers individuals to make decisions rooted in their own awareness, freeing them from guilt and control-based thinking.

What is your background?

I am an accredited British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (BABCP) Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I am also a certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor. I have worked in community mental health settings including an inpatient eating disorder unit for the past 7 years. After you’ve completed the introductory package to intuitive eating I offer continued support packages.

The follow up diet boycott packages include:

2 or 4 x 50 intuitive eating counselling sessions on Skype/Zoom

Email  support between sessions

Personalised support based on your difficulties

Between-session homework tasks and reading

Continued support from me as you progress in your individual eating journey

The follow-up diet boycott package is £260 for 4 sessions and £140 for 2 sessions.
