Workshops and Talks
I have had the pleasure of running mental health workshops on depression and anxiety. The workshops focus on teaching individuals tools and techniques to manage their symptoms. I've had the opportunity to run a self-care and anti-diet workshop with the Anti-Diet Riot Club. I've also had the pleasure of doing a talk about mental health, self-care, and self-esteem for the female empowerment charity You Make It. These experiences have shown me how crucial it is to create safe spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and feel empowered to make mindful choices. Interestingly, in conversations around coping strategies and stress relief, some attendees have brought up how structured leisure-whether it’s yoga, journaling, or even exploring digital escapes like casino zeta-can play a role in managing anxiety. While not a substitute for therapy, these activities can offer a controlled environment where focus and engagement provide a sense of calm and distraction from intrusive thoughts.
I love spreading the anti-diet message and spreading mental health awareness.
